ive not blogged for ages. ive just took up my needle and put some stitches on fairy idyll. i will have to get some more pictures up of it.

This flower fairy is from a magazine not sure if i got all the colours spot on but i think it looks ok. i plan to get it framed as i do like flower fairies.
Started stitching nelson and tibbs free kit.







Been doing abit more stitching than normal due to millie dog having a tumour removed so ive been keeping my beady eye on her to make sure the stitches are scratched out. i take her back vets tomorrow (monday) for a checkup as her friday checkup the incision was inflammed so had anti inflammatries and seems alot better. the vets plan is if its healed ok to remove stitches on friday but because of inflammation im not sure if they will. poor dog's not been aloud to run, jump etc all things she loves doing, also had to wear a buster collar(plastic cone as we call it).
I ordered my new glasses on thursday as ive been getting migraines and had a eye test and the current prescription is too strong so no wonder im getting migraines. the new glasses are having anti fatigue lenses as the optician thought they would suit what im doing eg stitching. the anti fatigue as he termed it are pre varifocals. mum kindly paid for them after paying £240 on vets bills. we couldnt find £300+ for new glasses but my dad insisted i had them this month and we pay them back.

this is a free chart called kathys violets by chatelaine. i changed the bead colours but i like the finished piece not sure the fabric count either 28 or 32 it was a piece i had in my stash that i cut in half and the other free chart by chatelaine will be stitched on it. not sure what im going to start next.

this is what ive stitched for my hubby for our 10th wedding anniversary on the 28th april . i stitched a green morris minor for him before, just got to iron it and frame it.

this is my latest creation it was a free kit off a magazine. it was quite a quick stitched item and im pleased with how it turned out.
im starting on another chatelaine free chart called kathy's violets ive got as far as ironing the fabric and marking the middle and sewing it on the scroll frame.

i finished this yesterday its called winter rose by lavender and lace. going to start a pansy bellpull next. winter rose was my 4th in 11 in 11.

This is the pincushion i stitched over the weekend it was a free kit from britians no1 cross stitcher. Its not bad im not great at normal sewing so im quite happy with the finished thing. The picture isnt very good as i scanned it because for some silly reason if i plug the camera into my laptop it knocks my internet off.
Im back to stitching on wnter rose(lavender and lace) im quite pleased with how its going not too much to do over half done.
